Pauline "Polly" Catanach 67 of Elmwood ended a brave fight with cancer on Thursday 4/25/2019 in Lincoln
surrounded by her family.
Pauline was born March 24, 1952 in Nebraska City NE at St. Mary's Hospital to Vincent and Ila Faye Miller
she was raised on a farm outside of Syracuse where tending to the animals and other chores were part of growing up. After graduation she married John Thompson, from this union came two sons and two daughters before divorcing.
In 1996 she married the love of her life, Jake until his death on December 26, 2018.
Pauline and Jake loved visiting Branson Mo. and various other spots in the midwest. She and Jake were fans of the Kansas City Chiefs football team. They enjoyed working outdoors and the projects on their home, but above all they loved family.
Pauline is survived by Daughters Shelly (Pat) Markley of Lincoln and Sheila Thompson of Omaha
a Son Dallas Thompson of Lincoln
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Jake, son John Thompson and her loving pet Shushu
Graveside services are Saturday May 4, 2019 at 1:00 pm. in the Elmwood Cemetery
Visitation Friday 4-8 pm with family at Hammons Family Funeral Chapel Weeping Water
friends and family are encouraged to wear Bright Clothing or Chief's attire
